“Pernille designed our home for the Witchcliffe Ecovillage, and we’re really happy with the outcome. The design makes the most of the site’s position and views, while staying practical and buildable. We’ve also had a lot of positive feedback from others who’ve seen the design—people often comment on how clever and versatile it is.

We had a tight budget, and Pernille worked hard to keep the design within it—bringing a balanced mix of creativity and common sense. She listened carefully, opened up possibilities we hadn’t considered, and then helped us choose options that genuinely fit the budget. As the process unfolded, she was also great at fine-tuning details and pivoting when we needed to adjust direction, without losing sight of the overall intent.

The Ecovillage has rigorous design guidelines and Pernille’s deep familiarity with them made the whole process smoother. Her experience with sustainable design in the village—and the fact that she’s a resident herself—gave us real confidence we were in capable hands.
